The Dress!

My dress is Casablanca Style #1894.  I love everything about it, but especially the beading around the hem.  I'm going to have a very simple halter strap added to the neckline.   Please excuse the crappy iPhone photo, and the goofy look on my face.

I ordered my dress from Pearls Place in the middle of February and got a great deal!  So far, the people there have been great to work with.  Hopefully everything will go smoothly with my order, and the dress should be delivered to my door in four months.

The wonderful Linda Gillentine will be doing my alterations.

Wedding Bands

Jacob and I got both of our wedding bands from Solomon Brothers in Buckhead.  I love my wedding band!  It's so pretty, and it looks great with my e-ring.  I am so excited for September to get here so that I can wear it!  Jake's ring is a brushed tungsten band with diagonal line detailing on it.  It had to be ordered in his size, but it should be in soon!

I ordered these three pieces from White Aisle.  I think I'll only wind up wearing two of them, but I couldn't decide which.  So I got them all, and I'm going to try them on with my dress and see what works.

Shoes

I finally have the perfect shoes!!!  My first wedding shoe purchase was the fantastic hot pink flats above.  I loved them, and for the bargain price of $9.88, I just couldn't pass them up.  Unfortunately when I actually got my dress, I decided that closed toe shoes just didn't look quite right.  But I was totally in love with the idea of hot pink shoes.  So I bought the dyeable coloriffics "Andie" shoes pictured in white about, took both pairs of shoes into my local Heel Quick and said "Can you please make these shoes this color?"  $25 and 4 days later, I now have the most perfect, delicious, wonderful, fabulous wedding shoes EVAH! I am so happy.

Bridesmaids

Here are the bridesmaids dresses!  They are WToo style #350 in black silk shantung.  Thanks to the wonderful people at Pearl's Place, we're getting them for a great price.  They're going to wear them with silver shoes of their choice, and I'm on the hunt for some cute jewelry to go with them now! My girls are going to look so great!!!

I ordered this necklace and earrings for the girls.  They're from Blue Nile.  I love the necklace, and kinda want to get one for myself!  I hope they like them.

Groom

Jacob will be wearing a black tuxedo with a platinum paisley tie, a platinum vest with a very subtle diamond pattern on it, and an ivory pocket square.

Grooms Gift

Jake loves watches, so as his wedding present I got him this Baume & Mercier Classimo.  He helped me pick it out, and I know he's so excited about it!

Groomsmen

The groomsmen will be wearing the same tuxedo as Jacob, but with black vests and ties, and a platinum pocket square.

Mother of the Bride

This is the dress that my mom will be wearing, except in black instead of ivory.  It is Jovani style #15576.  It looks fantastic on her, and she loves it.  Yay!
