Toss the Bouquet. Keep the Love.

Laura Simon came over and did my makeup trial today.  I'm really happy with how it turned out!  It looked natural, but pretty, and it lasted all day long!! I love having my makeup done.

I bought this hair fascinator off trash to treasure from Houston Knottie MBHouse.  I haven't gotten it yet, but I can't wait to see it.  In the picture, it seems to be exactly what I've been looking for!

This is about as simple as a veil gets!  But, when you pair it with my fascinator, and all the sparkles on my dress I think it's perfect.  It's just a fingertip length, ivory 1 tier veil with a pencil edge.  Thanks Davids Bridal!

Here are some pics from my hair trial today.  I'm still kind of on the fence about how it turned out.  I really love the back of it, but I'm not crazy about how it looks from the front.  But I'm not really sure what to do differently.  I'm also reconsidering the idea of an updo altogether, and thinking about asking her to just leave it down and make it all curly.  I don't know.  I think I'm going to just think about it for a couple of days, and see how I feel.
